The producer
Les Terres de Phileandre is David Duband's laboratory. He built the negociant label in 2018 and named it for his twins, Philomene and Leandre, as a place to explore appellations his domaine does not reach and to trial what the domaine cannot risk: sulfur free cuvees, concrete eggs, heavy whole cluster. The fruit comes on long term contracts from growers he trusts, from Savigny-les-Beaune premiers crus down to honest regional Bourgogne and Vin de France. Same hands, same Hautes-Cotes instincts, a freer rein.
