Fliederhof
Fliederhof is a wine producer in Alto Adige, Italy. LeMieux Wine Co. distributes Fliederhof wines to licensed restaurants, bars and retailers in Michigan.
The producer
The Ramosers have been on the Santa Magdalena hill above Bolzano since Martin's great grandmother Maria first brought the family there, and Martin, back from wine school around 2018, has pushed the three hectares somewhere few Sudtirol estates go: certified organic and Demeter certified biodynamic, with Martin making many of the preparations himself from nettles and horsetail. Schiava on pergola off volcanic porphyry, Lagrein in big old casks, an old vine Sauvignon parcel on limestone to the south. On sulfur he says there is no recipe. Every wine has to go its own way.
